EJ Home LLC was a long-term dream of Jusztina and Andy — two people on the hunt for perfection and a smooth client experience.
From Hungary, to New York, to the Litchfield Hills.
Jusztina Paksai and Andy Molnar spent fifteen years in property management — first in the UK, then in New York City — before they ever built anything of their own.
Managing property led to small renovations on those properties. Small renovations led to larger ones. And larger ones eventually led to renovating their own home, which turned out to be a long and painful process. They kept asking the same question: why does it have to be this hard?
EJ Home came out of that question. The company was founded in Lakeville, Connecticut in 2020 around one core principle — an easier, more joyful and less stressful way to create a forever home.
Putting Down Roots.
They moved to the Litchfield Hills in 2015 and started putting down roots. At first they were second homeowners, drawn by the green space, the quiet and the safety. They had friends in the area, and through them — and their own exploring — they came to know and love this part of Connecticut well enough to relocate here full time.
Although they settled in New England, far from their original country, they found themselves feeling at home. They are raising their young family here.
We are not working with walls and roofs, but with the dreams of our future neighbours.

Seven people carry the work at EJ Home — founders, a master draftsman, an interior designer, a lead carpenter, an accountant and a technology consultant. Between them they cover a house from the first drawing to the last screw.
